cool, calm and A Dangerous Man:
Steven Seagal doing what he does
best as he shakes up the world of the
bad guys and dispenses richly deserved
justice in an action-packed movie from
the Director of The Keeper... LAMBASTING HIS WAY THROUGH A Dangerous Man as a tough-talking,
no-nonsense former-Special Services operative who has been wrongly convicted
of brutally killing the man who terrorised his wife Holly, Steven Seagal (Hard
To Kill; Out For Justice; Under Seige) does not disappoint.
Six years into his lengthy sentence and with his wife unwilling to wait for
him, Shane Daniels (Seagal) is released with just an apology from the State
of Arizona when he turns down the compensation offered for ruining his life.
Daniels immediately has to deal with two petty criminals and then is unlucky
enough to become involved with serious trouble when he and young Russian Sergei
(Jesse Hutch hope we see more of him) witness the murder of a policeman
who is searching a car belonging to two Chinese gangsters.
With Sergei's friend dead along with one of the murderers and the other Chinese
on the loose, Daniels and the Russian make their escape. But not before they
discover a terrified girl, Tia (Marlaina Mah), and a bag of money stashed in
the boot of the car which leads to them both being relentlessly pursued by Chan
(Terry Chen) and the cold-blooded Chinese Army Colonel (Byron Mann) who are
determined to recover Tia and the cash at whatever cost.
Sergei brings Tia and Daniels to his tough father Vlad (Vitaliy Kravchenko),
and as the Chinese close in, the Russians and Daniels fight to keep the girl
safe and ultimately to rescue her kidnapped uncle from the gangsters.
A Dangerous Man is a tense and gritty action-packed journey pitting ruthless
Chinese against equally ruthless Russians with the superb Steven Seagal as the
unstoppable driving force. Coming up against a barrage of high-powered weapons,
deadly explosives and police corruption, Daniels must rely on his wits to keep
the Chinese from their killing spree.
